Stacey Hepburn-James, Board of Education

I serve as the Senior Director of Residential Operations for Yale University, leading the strategic and operational direction of 14 residential college dining halls in support of Yale College’s mission. My work ensures an exceptional, student-centered experience that reflects Yale’s values of distinction, inclusivity, and innovation. With expertise in operational efficiency, human capital strategy, workplace culture, procurement and sourcing, technology and innovation, marketing and communications, and enterprise-wide strategic planning, I bring a proven track record of leadership and results to every role I undertake.

  • I am currently serving a second two year team on the Board of Trustees for National Association of College and University Food Services, I am on the Board for Trumbull Loves Children, I am a Fellow and First Year Faculty Advisor for Pierson College at Yale University, and lend expertise to various Yale university committees on campus

  • For the past nine years, Trumbull has been more than my home—it’s been the place where my family has grown and thrived. With two children in our public schools and experience serving on a local board, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, talent, and community spirit that make Trumbull such a special, close-knit town.
