Nate Gross, Constable

I was born and raised in Trumbull and have lived here my entire life. My deep commitment to this community has guided my career in public service. I bring experience in leadership roles that require strict impartiality and adherence to procedure—qualities I will carry into the office of Constable.

  • I'm a problem solver. I'm driven to serve by the problems I see, the solutions that haven't been found, and the people who need them.

  • As Town Constable, I'd like to help the public stay better informed and aware of how to handle any documents they're served. This includes the creation and publication of guides on what to do if you're served, and guides for the different types of documents you can be served, hopefully accessible on the town website and distributed by Constables.

    • President, Greater Bridgeport Young Democrats

    • Vice Chair, Democracy and Civics Engagement National Committee

    • Former President, SCSU College Democrats and SCSU Hillel

    • Former Student Senator & Parliamentarian, HCC Student Senate

  • What I love most about Trumbull is our sense of community. Nobody in town ever really feels like a stranger, and you can always find someone willing to offer help if you need it.

Fun Facts

What’s a fun fact about you? I love sitcoms! I'm always up for a good laugh, and I've got an encyclopedic knowledge of nearly every sitcom since the 90's!

What's your favorite place in Trumbull? My favorite place in Trumbull is the fountain by the library. It's a great place to unwind and think. Even when the water isn't on, it's always a nice place to stop on a walk.
