Nancy Walkley, Zoning Board of Appeals

I retired in 2024 from a 44 year legal career focused on real estate transactions and land use. As a lawyer my practice was concentrated in real property transactions, commercial and residential, often involving zoning matters of the type that come before the ZBA. I raised a family in Trumbull, moving here in 1982, volunteering in the schools when I was able and thoroughly enjoyed all the recreation facilities the town has to offer. One of my children has returned to raise her family here for the excellent eduction offered by our public schools.

  • As a recent retiree I have time to give back to the town I have lived in and enjoyed for over 40 years.

  • If elected I hope to provide valuable contributions to the Zoning Board of Appeals based on my previous involvement in the real estate area.

  • I volunteered during my childrens’ school years as a trip chaperone, Assistant Girl Scout leader, and sports related activities.

  • Trumbull has an amazing number of parks and recreation facilities that I and my family have used often, including the hiking trails, tennis courts, pool and golf course.
