Kelly Mallozzi, Town Council, District 6

As a busy mom of four, wife, and small business owner, I serve on the Town Council because I care deeply about Trumbull. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been active in the PTA, served on the Library Board, and volunteered hundreds of hours to strengthen our community. Midwestern-born but proud to call Connecticut home, I’m grateful that my children experience acceptance, inclusion, and an equitable education here. With 31 years of experience in sales and management in the print industry and a degree in Political Science, I bring organization, flexibility, and a fair but firm approach to public service. I’m committed to keeping Trumbull a thriving place where all people can work together to build community and support one another.

  • I am driven by a belief that every single person who lives in Trumbull deserves to belong and achieve their full potential. Ensuring fair educational funding, fiscal responsibility, and the development of projects that serve all of Trumbull is something I feel deeply about. I want to keep Trumbull a place where everyone is welcome. We have incredible amenities in Trumbull and I want to make sure we continue to govern in a way that ensures that it continue.

  • I want to make sure that we continue to fund education to guarantee that everyone in Trumbull receives a fair and appropriate education. We need a new Senior/Community Center to serve our seniors as well as every person in Trumbull. I want to make sure that law enforcement is properly equipped to provide the protection and services that they always have.

Fun Facts

What’s a fun fact about you? I skated in The Windy City Rollers, a roller derby league in Chicago, for 2 seasons under the name Sister Sledgehammer. I was also a founder.

What's your favorite place in Trumbull? Hands down Twin Brooks Park. I hike there almost every day with my dog, and every day I am struck by its beauty. It brings me peace, and I feel lucky to live in a place with such natural amenities.
