Jennifer Winschel, Town Council, District 2

Jennifer has been a Trumbull resident for 33 years and is the mother of two wonderful daughters, Caroline and Grace. She has been a music teacher at Hillcrest Middle School since 1998. She is a dedicated volunteer leader with the Trumbull Historical Society, where she served as president for many years, successfully getting grant funding to install new informational kiosks along historic trails. She also continues to lead regular hikes and participate in historic programming. If reelected, she will continue to ensure that town services are delivered effectively for all and will continue to promote Trumbull's walk-ability and a deeper understanding of our shared history. I have been a music teacher for almost 30 years. If anything, it has increased my sense of humor!

  • Trumbull is a wonderful town. I feel it is my obligation to help make it better.

  • Ensure that town services are delivered effectively and improve walk-ability. I would alsom like to see the senior center completed.

  • Trumbull Historical Society, Board member, President

  • I love to walk. I love to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of where I am. I like to think of those who lived here one or two hundred years ago, whose feet passed by the same spot. Someone like Nero Hawley who owned the land in my neighborhood two hundred years ago.
